If you would like some light-hearted exercise for feet and brain, then Scottish Country Dancing might be for you. It’s social dancing, usually in sets of six or eight people, to lively jigs and reels or slower strathspeys, and it’s great fun!

More experienced dancers help and support beginners. We work to improve our dancing, but our main aim is always to enjoy ourselves.

Everyone is welcome to have a go. You don’t need to bring a partner or wear anything special, except that soft, flexible, close-fitting shoes, not too grippy, are required. Any shoes like this will be fine.
