We have a membership of 21 to date of whom between 10 to 15 attend meetings at any given time. We meet at Asda Community Room on the first and third Mondays of the month, between 11a.m and 1p.m. Some of us then continue to socialise over a snack and tea/coffee in Asda's cafe after the meeting.

The current format is that we have a theme, suggested by the Chair, (a role under-taken by members in turns) and members share their writing on that theme as we go round the group. We give comments and feedback on each others work, which are designed to be encouraging to each individual writer and helpful to other members. The theme is flexible and members do not have to write about it, they can share something else they have written or indeed they don`t have to write anything, they can still turn up and listen to the work of others and provide comments.
