We discuss what is likely to be seen in the night and early morning sky in the following month, such as planets, constellations, meteor showers and the ISS, and any general astronomy/space news.

We had a trip to Jodrell Bank in July 2023 and managed an evening outing to Keele University Observatory in February. In June we had a trip to the National Space Centre at Leicester, where the displays included a history of rocketry and manned flight, day-to-day life on the International Space Station, and a film of how we are all made from stardust.

Star charts and monthly notes are sent out to all members of the group.
